The Lagos state government is to improve budgetary allocation to education sector in other to further improve on the standard of education in the state.
The Deputy Governor, Dr Obafemi Hamzat said this at the commissioning of some project in Ajeromi Ifelodun local government.
He said government had also approved the procurement of tablets for all primary school teachers in the state.
The Deputy Governor noted that the procurement would boost teachers’ efficiency and improve teaching and learning ability.
Hamzat said government was not only interested in provision of infrastructure but also in the intellectual development of the pupils.
The projects commissioned were St Mary nursery and primary School, Father Sadiku Memorial nursery and primary school, Oba Abdul-Fatai Aromire library and ICT centre , basket ball court as well as Abukuru street.
