the Lagos State Government says it will continue to partner with non-governmental organisations as well as religious bodies in its efforts at providing basic facilities for the benefits of Lagosians.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu stated this at the Commissioning of a block of twelve Classrooms for Junior Secondary School, donated by the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Tabernacle of David Parish to the State government, and the rehabilitated resettlement Community Primary Health Care Centre, Alaguntan Village, Eti-Osa East Local Council Development Area.
The Governor commended the Church and other Non-Governmental Organisations for collaborating with the government in providing qualitative education and health care services to the people.
He also urged stakeholders as well as well-meaning Nigerians to use any resources available to them for the betterment of all, adding that the government could not do it alone.
Governor Sanwo-Olu enjoined Lagosians to pay their taxes regularly to bring about true democracy calling on teachers, parents, pregnant women as well as the community to put the facilities to good and proper use.
